Experience:
Diploma/Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Automobile Engineering, Business, Logistics, Transport Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in transport, logistics, or fleet operations.
Proven hands-on experience managing 150–200 covered vans on a daily operational basis.
Strong knowledge of route planning, fleet utilization, and vehicle maintenance basics.
Experience with GPS tracking systems and fuel monitoring.
Ability to manage large teams of drivers and operational staff.
Proficiency in MS Excel and basic reporting tools.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Additional Skills (Preferred)
Experience working with corporate clients and service-level agreements (SLAs).
Knowledge of transport compliance, road safety regulations, and documentation.
Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.

Location: Vakurta, Savar, Dhaka
Key Responsibilities:
Overall supervision of daily fleet operations (covered vans, trucks, and support vehicles).
Planning and optimizing routes, trip scheduling, and vehicle utilization.
Maintain liaison and coordination with BRTA, Local Police, Transport Vendors, Government Agencies, and other parties in relation to smooth operations of Transport departments.
Monitoring GPS, fuel consumption, trip logs, and driver performance.
Analysis VDRA (Vehicle daily running activity), KMPL, fuel usage, trip analysis, and associate costs.
Managing & Recruiting drivers, helpers, and field staff including duty rosters, discipline, and safety compliance.
Coordinating with clients to ensure timely delivery and service quality.
Handling breakdown management, emergency response, and contingency planning.
Attend the accident or other sites and deal with the situation. In case of an accident, reaching the spot within the minimum possible time, liaise with Police and arrange for survey by the concerned Insurance Company and apply for compensation.
Ensure the scheduled checks on the vehicle and spare parts. Initiate periodic inspection plans for the fleet and generate technical reports for individual vehicles.
Have practical knowledge on Transport repair & maintenance.
Controlling operational costs and improving efficiency.
Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly operational and performance reports for management.
Ensuring regulatory, safety, and company policy compliance.
Any other related task as assigned by the higher management.
