Context:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated professional for the position of GM (Head of the Department) to join our team who will be responsible for looking after whole Electrical & Mechanical operation in knit composite Garments & Textile with minimum cost & maximum efficiency. Responsible for overall management of Maintenance related Operational activities of the group mainly related to knit Composite Garments industry located at Jirani Bazar (Opposite to B.K.S.P), Gazipur.

Job Responsibility:

• Responsible for periodic and scheduled maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and power equipment of the factory.

• Ensure preventive maintenance of Boiler, Generator, Transformer & all other electrical & mechanical equipment.

• To Diagnose, troubleshoot, assemble and handle of machine's electrical problem.

• To face any unforeseen disaster, making appropriate plan within the limited resources and take necessary action to implements.

• To make an effective plan to supervise & monitor Maintenance personnel.

• To Oversee troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, disaster recovery and provides expert support when necessary.

• Ensure all fire safety equipment are functioning at all times and are maintained, repaired, replaced on time. Also be responsible for building maintenance work, including painting, repair, re-plaster work etc. and assist & provide support to all civil engineering related work.

• Ensure the safety of visitors and working people through compliance with occupational safety &environment regulation.

• Responsible for the overall maintenance of the factory for any electrical issues including sub-stations as well as other machinery.

• Have to troubleshoot the problematic areas and create a clear plan of action for fixing necessary parts.

• Ensure the availability of spare parts of machine breakdown &preventive maintenance issues.

• Identify &implement various measures to improve the efficiency of the machineries .

• Ensure zero downtime through preventive maintenance and relevant reporting. Prepare SOP for maintenance of plant & machinery and utility installation of the factory.

• Monitor & supervise all the utility issues such as air compressor, diesel & gas generator, water pump, steam boiler, washing machine, dyeing, ETP, knitting, RMG etc.

• Ensure proper monitoring & follow-up routine for scheduled maintenance. Including breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting maintenance, etc.

• To minimize NPT (Non-Productive Time) at a minimum level.

• To enhance optimum efficiency of all electrical & power equipment.
