Job Context:
∎ A subsidiary of a Multinational Apparel Sourcing Having global presence, involved in ready-to-wear especially woven bottoms apparel sourcing business globally. The Group has an integrated business model to offer multi-country and multi-product options to its customers worldwide.
∎ We are looking to recruit a Manager/Senior Manager - Merchandising especially for woven bottoms with having experience working with Tesco.
∎ We are looking Candidates having experiences in Marketing and Merchandising.
∎ Should have a good knowledge of woven product.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Capable to handle buyer individually.
∎ Meet & deal with Buyers Independently for all merchandising activities such as costing, price quotation, negotiation etc.
∎ Sourcing new suppliers.
∎ Costing and negotiate with different suppliers.
∎ Ensure trims, fabrics and other accessories are in house on time and follow-up regularly.
∎ Planning for new season sampling and production orders.
∎ Collect garment samples, trims and different types of swatches from suppliers.
∎ Follow up with buyers for approval and feedback.
∎ Manage & arrange all kind of production approval (Lab-dip-Sample-Trims) from Local Office/US Office.
∎ Sourcing materials for new development.
∎ Manage key customer accounts from costing to shipment.
∎ Maintain communication between Buyer for all sort of development and other issues.
∎ Should have merchandising knowledge on Knit & Woven and various Knit & Woven washes along with costing.
∎ Assignment of jobs and monitoring the activities (team members, if any).
∎ Monitor production and ensures time schedule and quality of garments.
∎ Monitor and processing of shipping documents; follow-up with Forwarder, Shipping Agent, liaison with Bank etc.
∎ Develop and implement monitoring procedures and tools including KPIs.
∎ Guide, motivate, and develop Team members
∎ Monitor and track product development
∎ Identify new sourcing opportunities and suppliers.
∎ Provide best of the competitive prices to buyers/customers.
∎ Complete order tracking from tech-pack receipt to shipment.
∎ Review suppliers Capacity and capabilities
∎ Oversee activities of the team members, identify their strength and weakness and evaluate their performance.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 34 to 42 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ knowledge Woven Bottoms and Woven washes along with costing.
∎ Should have hands-on experience related to customer relations management, product and business development, costing for new inquiries, quoting and sampling for new buyers, etc.
∎ Should be able to work on own initiative under pressure with set target.
∎ Should have proven leadership and inter-personal skills with capacity to anticipate and provide solutions to the problems.
∎ Should be proficient in computing.
∎ Should be fluent in both spoken and written communications in English.
∎ Excellent communication skill required.
