Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a capable and confident Merchandising Manager to lead the development of a new local retail brand aimed at producing high end kids wear.
∎ Job Location: Elephant road, Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for all merchandising issues
∎ Provide guidance to the factory to understand and follow the system & procedures of our brand.
∎ Ensure correct and on time sample submission for confirmed order and new development.
∎ Communicate with overseas supplier's offices regularly & follow up as per their provided program independently.
∎ Coordinate between factory production, raw material sourcing, Planning, material utilization team & other relevant team for smooth production.
∎ Ensure correct and on time submission of all developments (garment, fabric, accessories, trims, print, embroidery, AOP, y/d stripe, washing and all kinds of embellishments) with coordinated efforts among concerned production units and suppliers.
∎ Work with top management in formulating new business strategy for local market in accordance to market trend, competitor's activities etc.
∎ Able to handle costing & pricing properly.
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
∎ Should be able to monitor supply chain activities.
∎ Should have strong sourcing capability of fabric and trims when required.
∎ Monitoring sample development activities.
∎ Sound knowledge on yarn sourcing and price matrix.
∎ Provide reports, analysis as required by reporting authority/HOD/Management.
∎ Any other tasks as assigned by the HOD/Reporting authority from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):Merchandising
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Woven and knit Garments
∎ Should have working experience with any production Unit
∎ English speaking is Mandatory.
