Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct mediation meeting, minutes preparation, logistics support, coordination and follow-up and conduct review hearing and complete review reports .
∎ Set up the Mediation Framework such as Pre-mediation, Set Expectations, Mediation starts, Opening statements, rejoining and set agreements, and follow-up.
∎ Design and conduct training sessions on workplace conflict & disputes under the leadership of the chair of SGMC to create awareness & mitigate future conflicts & disputes within BRAC.
∎ Develop SOP, guidelines, policies, and procedures for the conflict resolution program, ensuring the BRAC's culture and values and implement it accordingly to resolve workplace conflicts & disputes in an effective & prompt way through the use of appropriate tools.
∎ Explore all parties' issues and concerns of all parties and use joint problem-solving to find a solution that each side feels is fair and help parties to develop the skills to resolve workplace conflicts/difficulties for themselves in the future.
∎ Ensure that cases sent for mediation are handled in compliance with policies and procedures.
∎ Maintain accurate records in soft and hard copies of all mediation-related documents and prepare mediation reports and keep the higher authority/supervisor up to date.
∎ Communicate with concerned programs about the mediation outcomes for executing mediation decisions taken by both parties voluntarily and ensure that all mediation services are provided in a timely and appropriate manner.
∎ Research on workplace conflict resolution and mediation, and stay updated on mediation laws, and regulations.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.
