Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the M&E system development for 'Empowering the RMG workers living in urban slums of Dhaka' project, creating appropriate M&E framework, tools and procedures for monitoring and evaluation of project activities.
∎ Define to implement key performance indicators (KPI) of the project activities and ensure that they are monitored and evaluated throughout the duration of the projects as well as analyze changes and patterns in KPI indicator data and performance reports.
∎ Manage and supervise the monitoring team of the project to ensure close monitoring of all programme activities and evaluation of progress towards achieving the results.
∎ Identify research issues related to the project and ensure research through third party and its dissemination. Ensure preparation and maintenance of on line data base of the project.
∎ Perform field visits to the project intervention areas to ensure quality data collection. Assist the Program Development team in establishing log frames, M&E work plans, and targets during drafting of new project proposals as well as throughout project implementation.
∎ Ensure that donor, partner, and Senior Management data queries are addressed in an accurate and timely manner.
∎ Implement and participate in program and project progress evaluation, baseline and end line survey and program follow up in order to advise and recommend tools and strategies to increase program performances and results.
∎ Develop programme and operational reporting templates that facilitate that acquisition and aggregation of programmatic information from field as per senior management and donor's requirement.
∎ Capture quantitative and qualitative data to report on programme performance indicators, prepare quarterly, half-­yearly and annual progress reports on UDP's programmatic activities.
∎ Assist Project Manager and operation managers to develop systematic monitoring plans, AOP and provide feedback to the programme on implementation strategies and activities for improving efficiency and effectiveness of the programme.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Current national and global development trends related to women empowerment, , gender and justice, legal aid, rights based approach, access to information; SDGs.
∎ Sound knowledge and understanding of M&E concepts and tools.
∎ Knowledge of programme/project cycle management and development.
∎ Knowledge on information management and reporting .
∎ Leadership and people management; Strategic thinking; Decision making and problem solving.
∎ Communication and documentation.
∎ Excellent analytical skills.
∎ Excellent ICT skills especially in statistical analysis using relevant software packages such as SPSS, Ms Access, Excel, etc.
∎ Excellent communications skills, oral and writing, both in Bangla and English.
