∎ •Adequate knowledge in the operation of Sewing machines, generators, Boiler, Compressor, Fire Pump & Substation Maintenance.
∎ •Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager in a Garments.
∎ •Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance techniques.
∎ •Excellent leadership and team management skills.
∎ •Proficiency in budget management.
∎ •Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
∎ •Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
∎ •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Job Context: The position mentioned above holder’s major duties and responsibilities will be related to maintenance of the factory's machines, utility management, generator & boiler management, and repairing and building maintenance.
∎ Job Responsibilities:
∎ •Supervise and lead the maintenance team, including technicians and contractors, ensuring they are well-trained and equipped.
∎ •Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all production sewing machines, Fire Hydrant & Fire Detection Systems including Boiler, Compressor, Generator & Substation Equipment, UPS/IPS, Air Conditioner and Electrical Systems and facilities.
∎ •Coordinate and manage repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of all production sewing machines, Fire Hydrant & Fire Detection Systems including Boiler, Compressor, Generator & Substation Equipment, UPS/IPS, Air Conditioner, and Electrical Systems and facilities.
∎ •Conduct regular inspections of factory premises to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns according to the preventive maintenance program.
∎ •Communicating regularly with higher management regarding problems or issues influencing production.
∎ •Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime.
∎ •Ensure that spare parts, components, and tools needed for maintenance are always available by ordering, forecasting, and monitoring material inventories.
∎ •Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations.
∎ •Develop, implement, monitor, and optimize the organization’s maintenance management plan following its goals to improve uptime and minimize costs.
∎ •Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
∎ •Hire, train, and evaluate maintenance workers, and monitor workers to ensure they meet performance and safety requirements.
∎ •Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks.
∎ •Have to gain current knowledge of all applicable safety laws and regulations (NFPA, BNBC, RSC & NIRAPON) to ensure full compliance.
∎ •Collaborate with other departments to meet their maintenance and renovation needs.
