• Must have experience in Lasting section/Shoe production.

1. Production Planning & Execution

   • Plan, organize, and oversee the lasting operations to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.

   • Ensure production schedules align with delivery timelines and quality standards.

2. Process & Quality Control

   • Monitor the lasting process to ensure correct shape, fitting, and alignment of uppers to lasts.

   • Implement strict quality control measures to minimize defects and rework.

   • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to maintain product consistency.

3. Team Management

   • Lead, train, and motivate lasting line supervisors and operators for optimum productivity.

   • Allocate manpower efficiently to meet production goals.

4. Machinery & Equipment Maintenance

   • Oversee the maintenance and proper functioning of lasting machines (toe lasting, side lasting, heel seat lasting, etc.).

   • Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.

5. Process Improvement & Cost Control

   • Identify bottlenecks in the lasting process and implement improvements for efficiency and waste reduction.

   • Optimize material usage and reduce operational costs without compromising quality.

6. Health, Safety & Compliance

   • Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and company policies.

   • Promote a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the lasting section.

7. Reporting & Coordination

   • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management review.

   • Coordinate with cutting, stitching, assembly, and finishing departments to ensure smooth workflow.
