Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
∎ Shahjalal University of Science & Technology, Bangladesh University of Textiles, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology, and Khulna University of Engineering and Technology students will get preference.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage team of engineers to define end to end factory process, capacity/capability definition, process, and people efficiency improvement.
∎ Develop, execute, and maintain a robust production management system by using technology for production excellence at the desired level.
∎ Finalize the operation bulletins, line targets, and line balancing buildup for the new styles.
∎ Set KPI for MMR and follow-up the improvement.
∎ Maintain proper KPI target/ratio and work with internal departments to ensure quality, production, and timely delivery of goods.
∎ Continue to look for opportunities to implement work aids to reduce steps, time, and cost.
∎ Ensure the department in management is consistently looking for methods to reduce the cost and improve efficiency.
∎ Ensure efficiency and productivity improvement and visualization by using different tools.
∎ Expert in various equipment and processes /constructions used in apparel manufacturing.
∎ Clear understanding of global and industry benchmarks and cost standards, product value engineering, labor cost, and material usage.
∎ Follow-up by upgrading the skill matrix and performance development of workers through training, counseling, and motivation.
∎ Follow-up calculation of Standard Minute Value (SMV) for a specific product.
∎ Follow-up calculation of the cost of manufacturing (CM) and the CPM of the factory.
∎ Monitoring manpower utilization and line balancing follow-up.
∎ Conduct profit and loss analysis, considering pre-costing and post-costing calculations.
∎ Minimize wastage and increase the utilization of man, machines, and materials with various tools and techniques.
∎ Prepare and implement an effective and functional SOP with the central policy development team.
∎ Capable of preparing manpower budgets and planning and operating lines as per budgeted manpower.
∎ Progressive mindset and approach to drive automation.
∎ System Development—SOP, Training and Skill Development, Process Improvement and Standardization.
∎ Improvement of IE tools and GSD implementation.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years

∎ The applicants must have experience in the following area(s): production planning, work study & IE.
∎ Excellent technical and organizational skills are required.
∎ Sound experience in the production, inspection, floor, line management, production management (cutting+ sewing+ finishing)
∎ Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially in Excel, Power Point, Auto CAD, Internet & Email.
∎ Candidates applying for this position must possess the following skills:
∎ Key Skills:
∎ Expertise in industrial engineering activities.
∎ Balance line to ensure a minimum work force.
∎ Coordinate quality control objectives and activities.
∎ Develop manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, & cost analysis systems.
∎ Clear knowledge of any types of woven tops and bottoms.
∎ Ensure proper layout of the machine by maintaining the proper sequence of operation to ensure best workflow.
∎ Check all the SMV's for cost before handing over to the merchandisers.
∎ Follow up the production antake the e necessary action for achievement.
∎ Skilled with planning & IE for productivity improvement.
∎ Grade the operator for new & existing, responsible for analyzing the workers performance.
∎ Preparing garments cost based on CPM.
∎ Practical knowledge about GSD analysis.
∎ Soft Skills:
∎ Excellent command in English writing, speaking, reading and listening
∎ Team player with strong interpersonal & leadership ability & good communication skill.
∎ Analytical ability and strategic thinking
∎ Ability to take challenges.
∎ Self-starter and self-motivation.
