Prior experience in production planning within a Tent manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of production processes, capacity planning, and supply chain management.
Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Responsibilities & Context:
We are a well-established Tent manufacturing company located in the Chittagong Export Processing Zone (CEPZ) and are looking for a highly motivated Deputy Manager/Manager for its Planning Department.
Develop and implement production plans based on order forecasts, capacity, and lead time.
Ensuring the production feeding to avoid single day machine idling situation by discussing with the merchant team.
Preparing annual production budget and earning forecast to optimize the costing.
Coordinate with merchandising, production, sourcing, and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Monitor production progress and adjust plans to meet delivery deadlines.
Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
Maintain accurate planning reports.
Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
Lead and mentor the planning team to achieve operational targets.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives in planning and scheduling processes.
Assist to obtain and manage all orders and deliveries for all external processes and prepare reports to be presented to management and manage demand and supply of all materials.
Analyzing all style variations and style changes; and subsequently establishing manning and efficiency, so as to effectively manage such changes and thereby maintaining style continuity.
