- Must have practical knowledge on Line balancing, Cycle time, Lead time.
- Footwear factory production knowledge is essential.
Responsibilities & Context:
Analyze and improve production processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs of a 6 line production factory.
Conduct time & motion studies, SMV calculation, line balancing, and capacity analysis.
Design and update operation breakdowns, manpower planning, and machine layouts to maximize efficiency.
Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to reduce time, cost, and waste.
Apply Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and other productivity improvement tools.
Ensure accurate documentation of IE reports, production analysis, and KPIs.
Monitor operators’ performance and guide supervisors to achieve efficiency targets.
Collaborate with Production, Planning, Quality, and Maintenance teams for smooth operations.
Lead cost reduction initiatives through improved work methods and resource utilization.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly performance reports for management review.
Train operators, line supervisors, and IE staff on workplace engineering best practices.
Assist in budgeting, cost control, and inventory monitoring for production operations.
Coordinate technical and pre-production meetings before launching new styles.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and social standards on the production floor.
