Job Context:
∎ We, Manami are looking for an experienced Manager-HR & Compliance to ensure our company adheres to legal standards and in-house policies. He will be responsible for enforcing regulations in all aspects and levels of business as well as provide guidance on compliance matters. A great individual who is well-versed in legal guidelines and corporate governance best practices. Has professionalism of high ethical standards and work diligently to complete his duties keeping in mind the objectives of the business. He must be comfortable saying "no" when necessary and be result-oriented. The goal is to preserve the company`s integrity by making sure it stays on a lawful and ethical course.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Have to develop and implement strategic policy & procedures for Compliance issues.
∎ Have to ensure preparing and administrating of employee’s & worker’s monthly salary & wages
∎ Have to conduct domestic inquiry & submitted the reports to the senior management
∎ Have to plan for recruitment
∎ Have to ensure and check worker’s and staff’s final settlement and maternity benefits.
∎ Have to conduct exit interviews of the resigned employee.
∎ Monitoring & supervise employees personal file, Increment, Promotion, Transfer etc.
∎ Monitoring Appointment Letter, ID card, & other relevant documents are properly made & issued.
∎ Responsible for ensuring leave policy as per labor law
∎ Monitor employee turnover rate and review the retention factors and take corrective actions.
∎ Have to ensure workers/ staff compensation & benefits without inconsistency as per labor law
∎ Have to Investigate migration, absenteeism and late attendance of employees through counselors and advised to take necessary measures to the concern authority.
∎ Have to maintaining and updating the employee database.
∎ Have to monitor daily attendance reports & send to top management.
∎ Have to monitoring and ensure BGMEA biometric database
∎ Conduct various training program to the workers and staff along with compliance team.
∎ Handling different disciplinary actions i.e. show cause, suspension, warning, termination, dismissal as per labor law
∎ Have to Maintaining good relationship with all level of worker, staff, PC, safety committee, Canteen committee for smooth operation.
∎ Have to follow-up and ensure all the matters related to group life insurance of employee
∎ Co-ordinate & facilitate employee socialization, orientation training program, and placement for newly hired employees
∎ Draft & circulate all kinds of official letter.
∎ Should have knowledge BLL-2006, Rules-2015 and Amendments-2018 & 2022
∎ Should have depth knowledge RSC/Alliance or any other Safety audit.
∎ Close Monitor the audit findings/issues and solve it as discussion with Management.
∎ Prepared the corrective action plan and submit it on time to the audit firms/buyers
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 3-5 years of experience as a Manager-HR & Compliance in the manufacturing industry.
∎ In-depth knowledge of Social Compliance Standards, Traceability/Technical Audit, Scan/C-TPAT/GSV/SCS audit including BetterWork requirements, BSCI, WRAP, SEDEX, GOTS, GRS, Higg, Oekotex and other relevant Buyer CoC audit etc.
∎ Good knowledge about BLL 2006, relevant local law and Buyer COC, electrical audit, fire safety audit & building safety audit, BNBC, NFPA.
∎ Strong leadership ability and work as a strategic thinker.
∎ Working experience in HR, Administration & Compliance with large garments industry.
∎ Self-driven to work under pressure and self-motivated to take new initiatives.
∎ Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
