Responsibilities & Context:

Position: Manager – HR & Administration (Factory)

Location: Gazipur, Bangladesh

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee all HR and administrative functions of the factory.

• Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee records, attendance, leave management, and separation processes.

• Handle worker and staff relations, grievance handling, disciplinary matters, and employee engagement activities.

• Plan and conduct worker and staff training programs, including orientation, workplace behavior, company policies, health & safety awareness, and skill development initiatives.

• Ensure proper manpower planning and workforce availability to support production requirements.

• Monitor absenteeism, turnover, and workforce trends and recommend improvement actions.

• Maintain employee files, HR documentation, and personnel records accurately.

• Coordinate payroll inputs, attendance records, leave records, overtime data, and other HR-related information with relevant departments.

• Supervise factory administration including security, cleaners, transport, canteen, and general facility-related matters.

• Support management in implementing company policies, procedures, and organizational initiatives.

• Prepare HR reports, manpower reports, training reports, and other management reports as required.

• Coordinate with production and factory management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

• Foster a positive, disciplined, and professional work environment throughout the factory.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in HR & Administration within a garment, textile, knitwear, or sweater manufacturing factory.

• Experience managing large worker populations in a factory environment.

• Prior experience in a sweater or knitwear factory will be highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of factory HR operations, labor management, recruitment, training, and employee relations.

• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and closely with factory management to achieve organizational goals.
