Position: Linking Manager

Company: Cassiopea Sweaters Ltd.

Location: Gazipur, Bangladesh

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the entire linking department to ensure smooth production flow and on-time shipment.

• Plan and allocate manpower according to production requirements and capacity.

• Monitor daily linking output, efficiency, quality, and productivity.

• Coordinate closely with Knitting, Quality, Production, and Finishing teams to ensure smooth workflow.

• Ensure correct machine setup, maintenance coordination, and proper utilization of linking machines.

• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and reduce rejection.

• Monitor WIP levels and maintain proper production balancing.

• Train, develop, and supervise linking supervisors, operators, and helpers.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and production procedures.

• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to management.

Requirements

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in sweater manufacturing, with significant experience in the Linking Department.

• Strong knowledge of sweater linking processes across different gauges and constructions.

• Proven experience in managing linking operators, supervisors, and production planning.

• Ability to work under pressure and achieve production targets.

• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in export-oriented sweater factories will be highly preferred.

Educational Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline preferred.

• Educational qualification may be relaxed for highly experienced candidates.
