Responsibilities & Context:

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing and uninterrupted supply of materials.

• Lead and supervise the procurement team to achieve organizational purchasing goals and operational efficiency.

• Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.

• Conduct price negotiations, contract discussions, and supplier performance evaluations to achieve the best commercial terms.

• Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, equipment, spare parts, and other required goods/services.

• Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply conditions to minimize procurement costs and risks.

• Prepare and review purchase orders, contracts, comparative statements, and procurement reports.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, financial procedures, and procurement regulations.

• Coordinate with production, warehouse, finance, and other departments to maintain smooth operational activities.

• Maintain proper documentation and records of procurement transactions and supplier agreements.

• Develop cost-saving initiatives and process improvement plans for procurement operations.

• Handle supplier disputes, delivery issues, and quality concerns professionally and efficiently.

• Ensure inventory levels are maintained appropriately to avoid shortages or overstock situations.

• Prepare monthly procurement reports and present updates to higher management.

• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by management related to procurement and supply chain operations.
