∎ JOB PURPOSE: This position is responsible for contributing to the grant administration process of the Health Nutrition and Population Programme by assisting in implementation of the fundraising strategy, and pursuing funding opportunities as per guidance of Programme Coordinator along with contributing to development of new projects, concept notes and project proposals in collaboration with relevant programme technical experts. The role will also provide technical assistance to Deputy Manager, Grant Management in project deliverables and donor reporting, and collating relevant insights and information regarding donors for assisting Programme Management Team in developing and reporting on programme strategies.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide support in implementing fundraising strategies for successful engagement with donors and corporate sector for bilateral fundraising.
∎ Liaise and coordinate proposal development process, including creating call summary, conducting due diligence, informing donor requirements to guide technical teams in designing, proposal finalization, submission, coordinate with other BRAC programmes and strategic pre-positioning and post-submission negotiations.
∎ Follow-up on functional rapport with existing and potential donors, funding organizations, corporate houses in running projects to define terms of collaboration for next phase and strengthen existing partnerships with donors and bi-lateral organizations with periodic programme communication.
∎ Liaise with BRAC Global Resource Program (GRP) and BRAC affiliates in USA, UK and the Netherlands and with BRAC International. Work collaboratively with BRAC fundraising focal persons across the organization to practice existing tools and processes to ensure high quality business development.
∎ Maintain and update the donors' agencies, organizations, and corporate houses' profiles for competitive and bilateral funding opportunities.
∎ Provide programme with monthly summary of relevant competitive bids curated from various online sources for next stage selection.
∎ Increase visibility of HNPP through development of peer-reviewed publication, media articles and OP-eds for external audience and participation in various local and international forums.
∎ Supervise coordination with program support functions, i.e. MIS & Monitoring unit, Finance & Accounts, Procurement, Human Resource, Advocacy for Social Change, and Audit during contract finalization and grant closing.
∎ Foster partnership opportunities with government, especially Community Clinic Health Support Trust (CCHST), and Community Based Health Care (CBHC) and ensure regular liaison, oversee preparation and updating of strategic documents (MOU), reporting and implementation of related projects.
∎ Provide technical support to Deputy Manager, Grant Management during donor reporting, responding to donor queries, representing HNPP at donor meetings on negotiating terms of donor reporting and deliverables.
∎ Provide technical assistance on Donor-related knowledge management, communication and partnership management activities and represent HNPP in relevant forums at local and global level.
∎ Lead formulation and process of non-financial agreements, like knowledge partnerships with Academia and public institutions, donations in-kind, research partnerships etc.
∎ Work collaboratively with BRAC fundraising focal persons across the organization to manage existing tools and develop others to ensure high quality business development practices
