Responsibilities & Context:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all dyeing finishing activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Develop and implement dyeing finishing recipes and processes to achieve desired colors and quality standards.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust processes as needed to meet deadlines and production targets.
- Ensure all dyed fabrics meet specified quality and color standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality control tests to identify and address any issues.
- Collaborate with the quality control department to resolve quality-related problems and implement corrective actions.
- Continuously evaluate and improve dyeing finishing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Implement best practices and innovative techniques to optimize dyeing finishing operations.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure all dyeing finishing activities comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures to protect employees and the environment.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Ensure all dyeing finishing equipment is properly maintained and calibrated for optimal performance.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule regular maintenance and repairs.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of new dyeing finishing equipment.
- Manage inventory levels of dyes, chemicals, and other raw materials.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials.
- Monitor usage of resources to minimize waste and control costs.
- Work closely with other departments, including production, quality control, and R&D, to ensure cohesive operations.
- Liaise with customers and suppliers to address any concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss and resolve operational challenges.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of dyeing finishing processes, production data, and quality control results.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on production performance, quality metrics, and any issues encountered.
- Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible for audit and review purposes.
- Any other task assigned by the management.
