HSC/Hospitality background or Equivalent. Minimum 15 years of experience in F&B operations of five-star hotels, knowledge of F&B service, food production, hygiene standards, and financial metrics. Proficiency in POS, inventory systems, and MS Office. Key skills should include Leadership & Team Building, Customer Service, Excellence Cost Control & Budgeting Menu Engineering & Upselling Food Safety & Hygiene Management, Time Management, Multitasking & Decision Making 



Responsibilities & Context:

Position Summary

The F&B Manager is responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations of Bashundhara Golf Driving Range to ensure exceptional guest experience, high-quality service, cost control, and operational excellence. The role includes managing staff, maintaining standards, planning menus with chefs, ensuring hygiene compliance, and achieving financial objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Management

  • Oversee daily F&B operations in restaurants, bars, cafés, banquets, or catering units.
  • Ensure smooth service delivery, consistent product quality, and guest satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with kitchen, service, and store departments for seamless operations.
  • Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Monitor table management, food presentation, portion control, and service etiquette.

2. Staff Leadership & Training

  • Recruit, train, and supervise service staff including supervisors, captains, waiters, and bar staff.
  • Conduct daily briefings, ensure grooming, discipline, and team performance.
  • Create staff duty rosters and manage leave plans.
  • Conduct regular training on service standards, upselling, hygiene, and customer service.

3. Customer Service & Guest Relations

  • Handle guest complaints, feedback, and special requests professionally.
  • Maintain a strong guest-focused environment.
  • Ensure VIP guest handling and personalized service.

4. Financial Management

  • Prepare and manage F&B budget, sales forecasts, and P&L.
  • Monitor food cost, beverage cost, labor cost, and wastage.
  • Review daily sales reports, set sales targets, and implement revenue strategies.
  • Ensure proper pricing, promotions, and menu engineering.

5. Inventory & Supply Chain

  • Monitor inventory levels, consumption, and stock rotation.
  • Approve purchase requisitions and verify goods received.
  • Ensure compliance with FIFO, FEFO, and storage standards.
  • Prevent pilferage and monitor material usage.

6. Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP, ISO, local regulations).
  • Conduct regular inspections of kitchen, dining areas, service stations, and bars.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, fire safety, and health regulations.

7. Menu Planning & Product Development

  • Coordinate with Executive Chef for menu planning and seasonal specials.
  • Analyze sales reports for menu engineering—high-profit vs low-profit items.
  • Ensure attractive presentation and correct recipe execution.
