Experience:
Hospitality sector specially in Pastry and Bakery department
Responsible for preparation and presentation of high-quality pastries and desserts for restaurant outlets, banquets, and room service.
Develops menu for baked items
Provides input for creation of baked goods
Completes daily food production sheets and other reports
Inspects orders to ensure high quality and presentation
Creates signature pastries, desserts and daily specials with approval from Executive Chef
Inspects ingredients upon delivery and before use to ensure quality
Assists in quarterly inventories and recommends stock amounts to Executive Chef
Stores unused food properly to minimize waste
Shares food and beverage complaints with Executive Chef and works to resolve
Ensures department adheres to hotel’s, health, hygiene and safety policies, HACCP procedure, Instruction and policies of Food Safety Authority of BDG (NIRAPAD KADDOH ODHIDOPTOR)
Coordinates kitchen staffing and food quantities with high volume periods for banquets, restaurants, and bar
Reports special requests, food spoilage, and other Pastry concerns to Executive Chef
Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service
Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems
Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction
Performs other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality
Collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers to ensure teamwork
Able to resolve conflicts guests, supervisor and employee
Strong floor presence with focus and energy
Relays feedback of kitchen employees to department manager
Provides Yes, I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis
Follows hotel grooming and hygiene standards
Minimises safety hazards by following all safety rules and procedures
Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.
