Responsibilities & Context:
Candidates must have experienced in textiles, particularly woven textile industry. In-depth knowledge of common spare parts in textile spinning and weaving will be highly preferred. Also should have good knowledge of dyes and chemicals used in processing.
Responsibilities:
- Managing reliable vendors and suppliers requires a strong grasp of product sourcing and vendor management.
- Evaluating vendor's quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project.
- Ensure evaluating supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation.
- Developing, leading, and executing purchasing strategies as required and Responsible for implementing internal procurement action plan to cater to superior delivery services and shorten lead time requirements.
- A deep understanding of negotiation strategies, solid judgment, and decision-making skills are crucial to closing deals with optimal terms.
- Analyzing data, performing cost analysis, and benchmarking are necessary tasks.
- Forecasting price and market trends and assessing suppliers' ability to ensure timely delivery of products, goods, or services are vital.
- Maintaining all purchasing-related documents such as quotations, work orders, bills, and challans is imperative.
- Monitoring and forecasting upcoming levels of demand is essential.
