∎ • Mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical coordination
∎ • Knowledge: Textile spinning machinery, compressors, boilers, HVAC
∎ • Tools: TPM, RCA, Lean Maintenance methods.
∎ Working Conditions:
∎ • Factory-based role with shift duties as required
∎ • Must be physically fit for noisy, dusty, and high-temperature environments
∎ • May need to respond to off-hour technical issues or breakdowns

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Operate and maintain gas generators, boilers, water pumps, and air compressors to ensure efficient utility performance.
∎ Conduct preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of machinery and utility systems.
∎ Diagnose and repair mechanical components such as motors, bearings, gears, and other rotating equipment.
∎ Perform routine maintenance of machinery, including motors, bearings, gears, etc., to ensure continuous operation and reliability.
∎ Maintain accurate logs, checklists, and compliance documentation.
∎ Coordinate with production and electrical teams to minimize downtime.
∎ Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
∎ Drive improvements in equipment reliability and energy efficiency.
∎ Manage spare parts inventory and liaise with vendors for procurement.
∎ Support installation and commissioning of new machinery or upgrades.
∎ Apply TPM, Root Cause Analysis, and Lean Maintenance techniques.
∎ Read and interpret mechanical drawings and operation manuals.
∎ Ensure continuous factory operations through efficient maintenance of all mechanical and utility systems. Strong problem-solving, hands-on expertise, and team collaboration are essential.
∎ Context: A leading fabrics manufacturer is looking for a proactive BSc Mechanical Engineer to join its Engineering & Maintenance team. The role involves hands-on maintenance and operation of critical utilities and mechanical systems. Experience with textile spinning machinery, compressors, boilers, and HVAC systems is highly preferred.
