An in-depth knowledge and experience of cutting process, knit fabrics characterises. Up-to-date knowledge and skills on garments manufacturing Up-to-date knowledge on modern cutting machinery/Equipment. Communication & Collaboration, Critical thinking & Problem solving, leading people & process, Positive & Proactive and Planning & Organizing. Minimum 8-10 years experience working in a garment factory in cutting section cut plan, lay plan and about fabric.

Responsibilities & Context:

1. Plan, organize, and manage the cutting section to ensure smooth operation.

2. Ensure fabric consumption, marker efficiency, and fabric utilization.

3. Supervise fabric laying, cutting, numbering, bundling, and issuing as per production plan.

4. Ensure proper quality control in cutting (shrinkage, shade, grain line, defects, etc.).

5. Monitor manpower allocation and machine utilization for maximum efficiency.

6. Coordinate with Merchandising, Planning, and Production teams to meet shipment deadlines.

7. Maintain accurate records of fabric in/out, consumption, and wastage.

8. Train, guide, and motivate cutting team members to achieve targets.

9. Implement 5S, safety, and compliance requirements in cutting section.
