Job Context
DORIA SUPPLY CHAIN LTD sister concern of AMTRANET GROUP is looking Manager/ Assistant General Manager-Commercial for its Supply Chain Management.
Responsibilities:
Making LC/TT and other bank related works for import or local purchase. Prepare import invoice as per L/C terms, submit to banks, and negotiate/ purchase. Operation regarding HS Code, Customs Act, Import Policy, Insurance and others related Govt laws applicable for import operation related to foreign and local tender.
Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate favorable terms, Cultivate strong relationship with global and local vendors. Monitor supplier performance. Resolve disputes and ensure timely deliveries.
Coordinate with customs agents and freight forwarders for smooth import processes.
Ensure compliance with import regulations, tariffs and documents requirements.
Stay informed about geopolitical changes, currency fluctuations, and supply chain disruptions.
Identify and mitigate risks related to international procurement.
