Educational Requirements:
∎ M Sc. in Agricultural Engineering or Agricultural Science and B. Sc. in Agricultural Engineering from reputed university with minimum 1st class or CGPA of 3.0 and first class/division in all other examinations;
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct site suitability analysis for solar irrigation pump sites considered for IDCOL financing;
∎ Prepare and review design related to solar irrigation pumping system;
∎ Monitor the performance of solar irrigation projects;
∎ Maintain coordination with solar irrigation sponsors, pump operators, farmers, and field team on improved on-farm water management techniques, water and crop scheduling, efficient cropping pattern and other aspects of solar irrigation pumps;
∎ Collect information and maintain database for solar irrigation pumps;
∎ Collaborate with various stakeholders to improve irrigation performance;
∎ Maintain satisfactory knowledge about market, regulation and other aspects;
∎ Any other activities as assigned from time to time;
∎ The incumbent is expected to spend most of the office hours in the field.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Minimum 5 years' work experience in the agriculture and water management field;
∎ Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Bengali;
∎ Strong computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet analysis.
Salary:
∎ BDT 116,308 + Festival Bonus + LFA + Gratuity + other benefits as per company policy
