Education:
    • Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) in Finance
    • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
    • Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) in Economics
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (minimum CGPA 3.00); Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CAMS, ICA) preferred.

Skills Required:

Additional Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in AML/CFT, Compliance, or Risk Management within financial institutions, including at least 2 years in a managerial role (banks/NBFIs).

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements of Bangladesh Bank, BFIU, and international bodies (FATF, OFAC, DoJ, EU).

  • Sound understanding of local and global AML/CFT trends and typologies.

  • Proficiency in compliance systems, regulatory reporting (STR/SAR/CTR), and risk assessment frameworks.

  • Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management capability.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

  • Ability to work in a software-based environment and provide required support for users internally.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the AML/CFT framework, ensuring full regulatory compliance and alignment with best practices.
  • Supervise implementation of CAP, KYC, CDD/EDD, and transaction monitoring processes.
  • Conduct enterprise-wide AML/CFT risk assessments and oversee mitigation of high-risk exposures.
  • Serve as primary liaison with regulators, auditors, and law enforcement agencies.
  • Develop and update AML/CFT policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with regulatory changes.
  • Design and deliver AML/CFT training and awareness programs.
  • Lead and manage the AML/CFT team, ensuring operational efficiency and capability development.
  • Coordinate with Risk, Legal, Credit, and other departments to manage compliance risks.
  • Report on AML/CFT matters to Senior Management, Board, and Audit Committee.
  • Review, approve, and ensure timely filing of STRs/SARs; maintain proper documentation and follow-up actions.
