Job Context:
∎ Probationary Period: Would be a 3-month.
∎ An International club is seeking a talented, skilled, and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance department. In this position, your chief responsibility is to preserve the excellent condition and functionality of our Club premises. Your duties will include carrying out quality assessments, scheduling repairs, maintaining inventory, and developing preventative maintenance procedures.
∎ Our ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades, with in-depth knowledge of buildings & premise maintenance procedures. To excel in this position, you must be an outstanding problem-solver with exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Clean facilities by sweeping, dusting, etc.
∎ Every morning checking all lights, Powerpoints, Switches & Savers.
∎ Carry out maintenance and minor repairs including painting and filling gaps or crevices on walls or sidewalks, carpeting, installations, etc.
∎ Perform routine landscaping on the grounds.
∎ Repair plumbing, electrical and safety systems.
∎ Perform non-routine duties as assigned or emergency tasks.
∎ Using mechanical acumen to diagnose machinery and equipment malfunctions.
∎ Creating and implementing a plan for repairs using various hand and power tools.
∎ Develop and perform routine preventive maintenance as well as determine and report the need for major repairs.
∎ Repair and replace general hardware.
∎ Remove stains and paint building when necessary.
∎ The successful candidate will report directly to the Club Manager
Additional Requirements:
∎ Languages: Spoken and written English and Bengali.
∎ Minimum 3/4 years’ experience in the similar role.
∎ Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment.
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
∎ Good time management and knowledge of electrical works.
∎ Physically fit and have a positive attitude to work.
∎ Knowledge of pool equipment and safety measures.
∎ Knowledge of basic rescue and have First Aid training.
∎ Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bangla.
∎ Willingness to work on weekends, holidays, and after hours.
