Responsibilities & Context:
Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of machinery, utilities, and production equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults and take corrective actions promptly.
Ensure minimum machine downtime and improve overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
Prepare and maintain maintenance schedules, checklists, and records.
Coordinate with production teams to plan maintenance activities without hampering operations.
Supervise technicians and support staff during maintenance and repair works.
Ensure compliance with safety rules, SOPs, and statutory requirements.
Monitor spare parts consumption and coordinate with stores for timely availability.
Support installation, commissioning, and modification of machinery and equipment.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reduction in maintenance operations.
Strong knowledge of PLC, Automation or industrial control systems.
Experience with HMI/SCADA systems.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
