Educational Requirements:
∎ BSc in CSE/ IT/ ECE or related subject.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ A member of a Network Operations team of system and network administrator, R&D and solution customization team.
∎ Expected to share time with the other System Administrators in providing on-call 24x7 support and there will be some after hours and weekend responsibilities expected
∎ Perform application patches, updates and tech bulletins in the production environment
∎ Assist Systems Lead with related tasks as required
∎ Administration of Windows and Linux based server systems
∎ Performs troubleshooting and repairs as required as Tier 3 support
∎ Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
∎ Implement storage solutions from requirements to production environment
∎ Develop project documentation such as project plan, detailed design, requirements analysis and implementation plans
∎ Assist Network Administrators to maintain the environment as required
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Must plan to stay with this company at least 2 years after the probation period.

∎ Strong hands on understanding of Unix/Linux Technologies with a broad understanding of system and network administration basics.
∎ Strong knowledge of different flavors of Unix/Linux
∎ Strong experience with RHEL server build, file system configuration:
∎ Configuration of ext3 file systems
∎ Configuration of ext4 file systems
∎ Configuration of xfs file systems
∎ PaaS - Platform as a service
∎ Strong understanding of Unix/Linux configuration on-prem and in a cloud environment
∎ Strong experience with NFS, SMTP, DNS, and SNMP configurations.
∎ Good experience in the design of distributed, high availability server-based network computing infrastructures; Cloud design, build and/or operational experience.
∎ Solid understanding of remediating security vulnerabilities ; Experience hardening Redhat systems
∎ Experience with virtualization technologies -VMWare, Linux Containers etc
∎ Experience with scripting for automation during system provisioning
∎ Experience with backups and snapshots for cloud storage
∎ Experience in monitoring cloud infrastructure
∎ Experience in performance tuning
∎ Experience with LDAP integration for Single Sign on to virtual machines
∎ Experience working in Apache Projects, like - Hadoop, Hive, Spark, MesOS etc
∎ Ability to work closely in a team environment
∎ Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously
∎ Must be self motivated and able to motivate others In the team.
∎ Believe in getting the job done at any cost.
∎ Always carry a can do approach in your pocket.
∎ Do not have issues working at odd hours and odd places.
