Job Context:
∎ Finance & Accounts Department is responsible for managing the financial actions of the company. Duties & responsibilities of the executives & officers of FAD include tracking cash flow and financial planning, analyzing the company`s financial strengths and weaknesses, and proposing corrective actions.
∎ Finance and accounting manager will be primarily responsible for managing the financial operations of SDS, including managing accounting functions ( AP, AR, Revenue, Expenses, Preparing Financial Report ), managing treasury functions such as ( cash management and loan management), financial planning and analysis ( Budgeting and Forecasting ), ensuring regulatory compliance ( Tax and other regulatory requirements ), communicating various stakeholders ( internal and external ), creating, maintaining and creating financial procedures and policies.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage all financial functions including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
∎ Accumulate and analyze accounting and statistical data for the preparation of reports/statements as per requirements of the Management & Regulatory Authorities in line with international accounting standards and industry best practices.
∎ Auditing and Reconciliation of Cash Transactions, Company Accounts, Bank Statements, Receivables and Payables, Organizing monthly Reconciliation and other internal audit.
∎ Prepare, organize, and handle Tax, Tax-VAT reports, and statements. ( Compliance )
∎ Maintain accurate accounting records/vouchers for future reference.
∎ Manage all banking correspondence and loan management
∎ Ensuring prudent management of cash flow and OPEX/CAPEX efficiency.
∎ Tracking, reporting and managing the overall financial performance.
∎ Ensuring the timely completion and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
∎ Advising senior management on prudent fiscal management.
∎ Preparation of Annual Reports.
∎ Other assignment as given by higher authorities from time to time.
∎ Manage the day-to-day financial operations within the company (bookkeeping, invoicing, accounts payable, petty cash, banking, payroll, and other financial related transactions)
∎ Compile financial data and prepare financial reports in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flow, Fixed Assets Register and Financial Notes and Disclosures).
∎ Verify that all financial transactions are approved by management and complies with the company's internal policies and controls.
∎ Make sure that accounting entries are correct and in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and book on time.
∎ Reconcile cash and bank accounts, account receivables, payables, revenue, expense and intercompany accounts.
∎ Provide all the required documentation and information for the annual financial audit of the company and coordinate with the auditor appointed by the company.
∎ Prepare a monthly and quarterly management reporting, for management's review of the company's financial health.
∎ Conduct yearly internal audits of the company to ensure that controls and policies are in place and revisit if necessary if the policies and procedures are no longer applicable.
∎ Draft financial policies and procedures that have direct impact in cost minimization and profit maximization and submit them to management for approval
∎ Prepare and manage Bangladesh Tax Compliance, such as filing of tax returns, VAT Reports, and other financial documentation required by tax authorities to avoid penalties.
∎ Make sure that the company filing system is in place, and safe and easy acces to the designated personnel.
∎ Manage correspondence and all banking transactions particularly the management of the company's loan.
∎ Actively liaise with bank personnel and maintain a good working relationship.
∎ Manage cash flow efficiently and effectively.
∎ Coordinate enthusiastically with other department heads and team members to gather the right information that has a direct and indirect impact on the financial aspect of the business and to create a healthy working environment.
∎ Monitor efficiently the OPEX and CAPEX of the company
∎ Other Ad Hoc tasks given by the management

Additional Requirements:
∎ Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
∎ Commercial and business awareness
∎ ** Software skills:
∎ Good communication skills - both written and verbal
∎ A keen eye for detail and a desire to probe further into data
∎ Ability to stick to time constraints
∎ Well-versed in Bangladesh Tax Regulations
∎ Proficient in MS Office ( Excel, Word, and Powerpoint)
∎ Able to work under pressure and deliver result on time
