Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Identifies potential threats to safety
∎ Watches over patrons to ensure they are safe
∎ Rescues patrons in danger of drowning or in need of first aid
∎ Contacts appropriate persons in case a situation escalates beyond their expertise
∎ Assists with swimming lessons
∎ Enforces the facility’s rules
∎ Maintains a level of physical competence to carry out the job
∎ Inspects facility and immediately reports any unsafe conditions or equipment to supervisor
