∎ LL.M /LL.B (Hon's) / LL.B Code of Civil & Criminal Procedure, Evidence Act, Contract Act, Land laws and law of Inheritance.

Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: Implement overall field activities of the department and provide legal support to programmes /departments through filing, nursing and achieving results of cases.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide legal assistance to BRAC programmes and departments
∎ Keeping track of legal issues and cases
∎ Arrange DCMC and report accordingly
∎ Maintain legal data base (CaseHub)
∎ Maintain complete files of all legal issues and cases
∎ Maintain liaison and follow up activities of Panel Lawyer
∎ Maintain liaison and coordination with BRAC staff, Court officials etc.
∎ Maintain necessary registers and files for LC office and accounts management
∎ Arrange, attend and conduct various types of meeting and training
∎ Provide reports, as directed or requested, to keep the management informed regarding field issues.
∎ Any other task assigned by the authority.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Court's Practice and procedures of Bangladesh
∎ Relevant law, policy, rules, procedures and judicial system of Bangladesh.
∎ Court's Practice and procedures of Bangladesh
∎ 1 year related proven practicing experience in courts for L L.M / 2 years related proven practicing experience in courts for L L.B (Hon's) /3 years related proven practicing experience in courts for L L.B (Pass Course)
Salary: Negotiable
