∎ JOB PURPOSE: The position will provide coordination and leadership on disability inclusion through partnership and collaboration, taking the lead in managing, setting and communicating overall direction, design innovatively for new prog/project related to disability inclusion in brac. Enhance level of disability inclusion sensitivity among BRAC staff for promoting disability sensitive work environment in all level/
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the safeguarding goals while action as a key source of support, guidance and expertise for establishing a safe working environment in accordance to its reporting procedures.
∎ Practice, promote encourage and endorse the safeguarding policy and implementation standards among team members in case of any reportable incident

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead negotiation and advocacy for disability inclusion across BRAC programs, department and enterprises and also with external stakeholders through establishing active partnership to achieve BRAC strategy and gender strategy goals and beyond.
∎ Lead designing process of new disability inclusion programme, scale-up plans and methodologies to achieve programmatic goals.
∎ Lead and ensure overall effectiveness of disability inbclusion portfolio management focusing on quality control and result achievement.
∎ Explore and initiate joint / collaborative innovations in line with BRAC's thematic/ emerging priority considering future up-scaling possibilities.
∎ Ensure support for disability responsive new prog/project development based on BRAC SOP and related checklist.
∎ Enhance knowledge, skills, and sectors specific know-how and technical expertise of Managers.
∎ Provide strategic directions and ensure overall coaching, mentoring and effective decision making of disability inclusion managers.
∎ Provide technical advice, direction and support to all Managers to achieve significant impact on disability inclusion.
∎ Ensure budget analysis, budget projection, cost efficiency and effective fund management of disability inclusions initiatives.
∎ Report to BRAC senior management on disability inclusion progress of programmes and enterprises.
∎ Represent BRAC in different donors/partners, network meetings and engage in platforms and flag BRAC's contribution to disability inclusion in Bangladesh.
∎ Provide technical support and guidance to GJD other units for capacity building, results tracking, capturing learning, best practices, advocacy and networking.
∎ Oversee the development of disability inclusion training modules and materials for GJD; review publications and other IEC/BCC materials to ensure that they include disability inclusion information.
∎ Identify and synthesize best practices and lessons learned directly linked to the disability inclusion programme.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent communication skills, especially when discussing the nuances of disability terms and best practices.
∎ Outstanding conceptual and analytical skills with regard to disability issues.
∎ Knowledge on budgeting and result reporting.
∎ Knowledge in developing strategic planning with ability to contribute to programme overall strategies.
∎ Great communication skills, especially when discussing the nuances of disability terms and best practices.

∎ Minimum 07 years of experience in relevant field.
