Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Perform routine testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products including tensile strength, elongation, shrinkage, dye uptake, and color matching.
∎ Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as color spectrophotometers, tensile testers, and moisture analyzers.
∎ Conduct shade matching and color fastness tests (washing, rubbing, light).
∎ Maintain accurate records of test results and generate detailed reports.
∎ Support the dyeing and finishing teams with lab dip preparations and color development.
∎ Calibrate laboratory equipment and ensure routine maintenance schedules are followed.
∎ Monitor production samples and provide real-time feedback to ensure product meets set specifications.
∎ Assist in troubleshooting production issues by analyzing sample defects or inconsistencies.
∎ Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
