Fabric consumption, Fabric Inspection, Fabric Manufacturing, Fabric Quality, Knitting, Knitting design, Knitting Production

Job Responsibilities:
∎ • Perform regular internal and external product quality control and monitor their
∎ quality so as to provide timely feedback to category/supplier for improvement.
∎ • Design and implement methods for process implement, testing and inspection.
∎ • Promote and execute quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology,
∎ quality plans, documents and reports.
∎ • Compile/Archive QC report related document.
∎ • Other responsibilities assigned by the Senior Management time to time
∎ • Monitor all quality related issues for the knitting unit as per buyer's requirement.
∎ • Effectively interact with technical development and dyeing, knitting, finishing team
∎ to maintain product quality; ensuring that requirements are maintained.
∎ • Coordinate the fabric production schedule between the garment factories and the
∎ fabric manufacturer to meet the company's deadline.
∎ • Vast idea on nature of fabric defects (how an error looks and its appearance)
∎ • Criteria of giving penalty points based on defects and defect length
∎ • Calculation method of total penalty points for total defects found in a fabric roll or
∎ than
∎ • Check sheet or format for recording data
∎ • Perform 4-point system fabric inspection and generate reports at the fabric
∎ manufacturer's site
∎ • To lead to check finish fabrics, find defects, point out them and make decisions
∎ (pass or fail).
∎ • Report fabric production status, deliveries, 4-point reports to head office on a daily
∎ basis.
∎ • Report to the head office immediately when there are any foreseen/ unforeseen
∎ issues that may potentially compromise the delivery time or fabric quality.
∎ • Develop knitting design.
∎ • Choice the right composition of yarn.
