Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Point of Contact (POC): Serve as the first point of contact for data clients, ensuring all client communication is logged, tracked, and followed up on in a timely manner.
∎ Technical Support: Handle integration, provisioning, troubleshooting, and provide necessary technical support for data services and client networks.
∎ Proactive Monitoring: Continuously monitor the BKB network and data services to identify and address any performance issues or anomalies.
∎ Familiarity with Monitoring Tools: Familiar with tools such as Observium, Dude, Nagios, SolarWinds, Cacti, and others.
∎ Data Service Knowledge: Demonstrate a good understanding of bank data connectivity and secure communication practices for financial networks.
∎ Protocol and VPN Knowledge: Display proficiency in various network protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and VPN technologies (e.g., IPSec, GRE, DMVPN, L2TP) to ensure efficient and secure communication across the network.
∎ Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports on network performance, incidents, and results from proactive monitoring.
∎ Technical Assistance to Sales Team: Provide technical expertise and assistance to the sales team as needed to support client acquisition and retention efforts.
∎ SLA Management: Ensure strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and take necessary actions to maintain service quality in accordance with the agreed-upon terms .
