Responsibilities & Context:
∎ After closing an order, collect the daily material stock status report (Yarn, Greige, Finish, NFD, Accessories, Production, etc.) from TMS.
∎ Prepare an excess materials report and physically verify it with the store or concerned department.
∎ Based on the excess materials report, circulate it to the responsible and concerned departments.
∎ Communicate with the concerned departments to determine the root cause of excess materials.
∎ Request the concerned department to provide a utilization plan for these excess materials.
∎ Follow up with the concerned department to ensure proper and regular utilization of excess materials.
∎ Create a report comparing the utilization plan with actual achievement.
∎ Coordinate with the related departments for process improvement (e.g., reducing process loss, consumption, or adjustments) based on the identified root cause.
∎ Prepare a monthly excess analysis report for presentation.
∎ Attend the stock age meeting with all excess reports and summaries.
∎ Regularly monitor and collaborate with the respective departments (Yarn Procurement, Merchandising, MPC, Garment Planning, CAD, Store, Cutting, Sewing, Finishing) to reduce excess materials and prevent stock buildup.
