Job Responsibilities:
∎ To bring to the notice of the management of the factory the grievance of workers, individuals as well as collective, with a view to securing their expeditious redress.
∎ To study and understand the point of view of the workers and to help the management and the workers to resolve their difference in the spirit of understanding and cooperation.
∎ To watch industrial relations with the view to using his/her influence in the event of dispute arising between the management and workers and to help to bring about a settlement through mutual discussion and joint consultations.
∎ To deal with wages and employment matters by joint consultation with the management and the workers representative body.
∎ To promote health labor management practices.
∎ To keep co-ordination with the medical officer of the factory for better services and treatment of workers.
∎ To encourage the formation of work committee and joint production committee, co-operative societies and welfare committee and to supervise their working.
∎ To look after the provision of amenities, such as dining, Crèche, adequate and clean latrine facility, drinking water and the like;
∎ To help the management in regulating the grant of leave with wages and explain to workers the provision relating to leave with wages and leave privileges and to guide the workers in the matters of submission of applications for grant of leave and for regulating authorized absence.
∎ To suggest Female workers on procedure on availing of maternity leave and how to get the maternity benefits and to keep tracks of workers on Maternity leave and to check out the reason if workers does not join after availing the maternity leave and also check out the well-being of workers those plan to avail maternity leave.
∎ To suggest measure which will serve to raise the working and living conditions of the workers and promote their general well-being.
∎ To advise and brief workers on Use of PPE, Machine guarding, Sanitation, OSHA, Fire Safety etc.
∎ To work as advised by the Factory management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 28 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ In-depth knowledge and experience of IRS.
∎ Knowledge on human behavior & judgement
∎ Knowledge on Bangladesh local labor laws.
∎ Knowledge on Occupational Health & Safety issues.
∎ Knowledge of GSP & ETI Codes based Buyers' COC.
∎ Negotiating skill
∎ Knowledge on HR policies and implementation
∎ Pleasing personality, ability to deal with the customers with a positive attitude.
∎ Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
∎ Smart in situation handling.
∎ Excellent interpersonal skill.
∎ Excellent communication skill both in English & Bengali

Salary: Negotiable
