Job Context:

• The Production Coordinator is responsible from the Corporate Head Office for coordinating and monitoring all production activities related to knit garments, ensuring timely order execution, smooth workflow between departments, and meeting buyer quality and delivery requirements.

Responsibilities:

A. Production Planning & Coordination

• Coordinate with the knitting, dyeing, spinning, merchandising, planning, cutting, sewing, finishing, and quality teams.

• Prepare daily/weekly production schedules based on buyer delivery dates.

• Follow up on sample approvals, trims, and fabric availability.

• Assist in preparing production plans and identify bottlenecks.

B. Production Monitoring

• Track sewing line output, WIP, and ensure targets are met.

• Monitor cutting, sewing, and finishing progress and report deviations.

• Visit production floors regularly to ensure smooth process flow.

• Communicate buyer requirements to relevant production teams.

• Maintain liaison with merchandising and planning for updates on order changes.

• Prepare daily production progress reports and share with management.

• Coordinate with the QC team to ensure the product meets quality standards.

• Highlight any quality issues and follow up on corrective actions.
