Solid understanding of quality standards and buyer specifications.
Strong communication skills in Bangla and English.
Ability to handle multiple lines and manage pressure during peak periods.
Knowledge of IE tools, efficiency calculation, and production reporting.

The required position will ensure the Sewing production management in planning, organising. And monitoring all sewing operations to achieve daily production targets, maintain quality standards, and ensures efficient line management. The required position will play a key role in optimising manpower, reducing defects, and maintaining smooth sewing line flow.
1. Key Responsibilities
A. Production Planning & Line Management
Assist in preparing sewing production plans based on cutting and finishing schedules.
Achieve daily sewing targets by ensuring smooth line operations and balanced workflow.
Monitor line balancing, work distribution, operator allocation, and output.
Ensure efficient machine utilisation and timely machine changeovers for new styles.
Maintain WIP at optimal levels to avoid bottlenecks.
B. Quality Assurance & Process Control
Ensure all sewing processes comply with buyer quality standards and garment specifications.
Work closely with inline quality checkers to reduce sewing defects, rework, and alteration percentage.
Lead root-cause analysis for recurring defects (e.g., skipped stitches, puckering, open seams).
Implement corrective actions and train operators to reduce errors and maintain consistency.
C. Operator Skill Management
Assess operator skill levels and allocate operators to appropriate operations.
Conduct training for new styles, attachments, and special operations.
Identify skill gaps and support continuous skill improvement through training programs.
Maintain the operator skill matrix and plan skill development initiatives.
D. Coordination & Communication
Collaborate with cutting, finishing, industrial engineering (IE), planning, QA, and merchandising teams.
Participate in PP (Pre-Production) meetings and ensure proper preparation before bulk sewing starts.
Communicate daily production status, issues, and corrective actions to senior management.
E. Productivity & Efficiency Improvement
Support implementation of LEAN manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and motion study initiatives.
Work with IE teams to improve line efficiency, reduce SMV loss, and stabilise new styles quickly.
Ensure proper use of folders, guides, special attachments, and machine settings.
F. Compliance, Safety & Discipline
Maintain proper housekeeping, safety, and compliance standards on the sewing floor.
Ensure operator discipline, attendance control, and a positive working environment.
Follow all factory policies related to safety, audits, and HR compliance.
