• Manage the daily operations of the internal security team and coordinate with external security agencies (if applicable).

• Formulate, implement, and update comprehensive security policies, protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Conduct daily briefings and parades for security guards to maintain high discipline, alertness, and physical fitness.

2. Access Control & Gate Management

• Strictly monitor and control the entry and exit of employees, visitors, vehicles, and materials at all factory gates.

• Supervise the loading and unloading of finished goods (accessories), raw materials, and cartons, ensuring proper challan/gate pass verification to prevent theft or pilferage.

• Ensure rigorous searching and screening protocols are followed at all entry/exit points.

3. Surveillance & Patrols

• Oversee the factory's CCTV surveillance system, ensuring 24/7 monitoring and proper footage backup.

• Organize and conduct regular and surprise patrols across the factory premises, warehouses, and boundary walls (especially during night shifts).

4. Loss Prevention & Investigation

• Investigate any security breaches, thefts, employee misconduct, or unauthorized activities within the premises and submit detailed reports to management.

• Identify potential security vulnerabilities and implement proactive loss-prevention strategies.

5. Compliance, Health & Safety (EHS)

• Ensure the factory’s security protocols align with national labor laws and international buyer compliance standards (e.g., BSCI, Sedex, CT-PAT).

• Act as a key member of the fire safety and emergency response team; ensure fire extinguishers, hydrants, and emergency exits are clear and functional.

• Conduct regular fire drills and emergency evacuation training for employees and security staff.
