Education:

• A Bachelor`s Degree (preferably in Textile Engineering) from any reputed university

• Age At least 25 years

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in a Textile Testing Laboratory, Quality Assurance, or Quality Control function within the textile, garments, or apparel industry.

• Sound knowledge of textile and garment laboratory testing, including fabric performance, color fastness, strength, shrinkage, and other standard testing procedures.

• Knowledge of laboratory quality management systems, testing standards, and compliance requirements.

• Familiarity with laboratory equipment operation, basic calibration, and maintenance practices.

• Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills.

• Ability to identify testing deviations, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications and laboratory reporting systems.

• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Perform laboratory testing of textile and garment products, including fabric performance, color fastness, strength, shrinkage, and other quality parameters according to approved testing standards.

• Prepare accurate laboratory test reports and maintain complete testing records and compliance documentation.

• Support laboratory operations by ensuring proper implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and quality standards.

• Assist in routine calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure testing accuracy and reliability.

• Coordinate with Production, Merchandising, Quality, and other internal stakeholders regarding testing requirements and reporting.

• Identify testing abnormalities, document findings, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

• Support investigation of quality-related issues and customer complaints through laboratory analysis and technical findings.

• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for laboratory operations.
