Experience:

• 3 to 6 years

• Masters in Engineering (MEngg) in Environmental Science
• Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Environmental Science

• Age 25 to 35 years

Must have minimum 6 years of experience in similar position in garments factory having Washing facility with ETP.

Must be conversant with ETP operation & maintenance.

Must have direct experience in Environmental Management Planning (EMP) and Environmental Management System (EMS).

Have to liaison with external & internal affairs (DoE, Buyers, etc)

Must have experience with ZDHC and Recycle Plant, 3R.

Must have practical experience on working with BHIVE, Worldly (Higg EFM, FDM).

Must have fluency in English (Speaking and writing)

Should have a passion for the environment, water saving, etc.

Evaluation, Monitoring & ensure overall environmental & chemical requirements of the factory as per environmental, chemical & buyer rules & regulation.

Set short term/long term objectives & target for continual improvement of environmental performance.

Analyse the environmental aspect & impact & take mitigation measure for significant aspects & impacts.

Work in HIGG FEM, FDM, BVE3, BHIVE, GTW & CFW, AWS, RCS, GRS, OCS, GOTS, OEKOTEX 100.

Maintain buyer's chemical management program, water managements program, environmental management program & waste management program.

Prepare Energy, Water, Wastewater & others consumption Record as per audit requirements.

Ensure chemical compliance of the internal activities according to the chemical code of practice.

Collect SDS, TDS, Test Report & RSL/MRSL declaration letter from chemical supplier & Analyze MSDS with CAS#, GHS pictogram, cross-check CAS# in ZDHC MRSL and make sure that chemical are out of 11 priorities banned and restricted groups;

Ensure proper chemical storage, labeling, secondary containment, and safe use.

Ensure MSDS, labeling in chemical store, distribution sub-store, dyeing, printing, CETP, spot removing room, and all relevant applicable area;

Prepare chemical inventory, wastage inventory as per buyer's requirements.

Knowledge about environment health & safety management.

Conduct all chemical & environmental training as per audit requirements.

Conduct Environmental & Chemical Risk Assessment and deal with related Corrective Action Plans (CAP).

Co-ordinate with 3rd party regarding chemical testing, wastewater testing, Calibration & environmental assessment as per respective guideline (ZDHC, RSL/MRSL, HIGG FEM, FDM).

To implement EMS, EIA, EMP, CMP (Chemical Management Plan).

To conduct energy audit and energy management plan.

Wastewater Monitoring.

Ensure discharge water as per environment quality standard.

Data input maintaining work of Chemical Store.

Any other task assigned by the management.
