Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Sampling

• Handle all types of sample developments (Proto, Fit, PP, Size Set, Shipment Sample, etc.).

• Coordinate with factories and suppliers to ensure timely sample submission.

• Review sample quality, measurements, workmanship, and construction.

Fabric & Trim Management

• Strong knowledge of Knit and Woven fabrics.

• Evaluate fabric quality, GSM, composition, shrinkage, color fastness, and other technical parameters.

• Coordinate fabric and trim sourcing activities.

Pattern & Garment Construction

• Sound understanding of pattern making, grading, marker planning, and garment construction.

• Identify and resolve fitting and construction issues.

Production Monitoring

• Monitor cutting, sewing, washing, finishing, and packing processes.

• Conduct regular production follow-ups and ensure adherence to production schedules.

Quality Assurance & Inspection

• Perform Inline Quality Control inspections.

• Conduct Pre-Final and Final Inspections.

• Identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.

• Ensure products meet buyer requirements and quality standards.

Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare production and quality reports.

• Communicate effectively with factories, suppliers, and management.

• Follow up on orders from development stage to shipment.

Requirements

Educational Qualification

• Minimum H.S.C passed

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an Apparel Buying House, Garment Factory, or Merchandising/Quality/GPQ role.

• Experience handling both Knit and Woven products is highly preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Sampling Process

  • Fabric Technology (Knit & Woven)

  • Pattern Making, Consumption & Garment Construction

  • Cutting, Sewing, Washing & Finishing

  • Inline QC & Final Inspection

  • Production Follow-up

  • Quality Assurance Procedures

• Good communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

• Ability to Work Under Pressure
