Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Law (LLB)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To serve legal notice after receiving the approval followed by filing case/suit under the N.I Act, 1881 and the Aartharin Adalat Ain, 2003 as complainant/plaintiff after expiry of the legal notice;
∎ To appear before the concern Court for giving attendance, witness as well as taking all the required steps in the case/suit in collaboration with Law Chamber;
∎ To collect the notice/summons/auction on time from the Law Chamber as ordered by the concern Court and will arrange to publish the same with the help of Processing & Payment Unit (PPU) accordingly;
∎ To execute the warrant of arrests issued against the defaulted Clients;
∎ To pursue Law Chamber or Court Officials for collecting the copy of Warrant of Arrest, any interim order and the certified copy of Judgment and Decree within the shortest possible time;
∎ To arrange to file execution case within the time limitation as per Law;
∎ To make sure that all the required documents/certified copies will be available in the respective file of MGL without any fail;
∎ To engage lawyer for contesting the litigation filed against MTB in High Court Division and Appellate Division and monitor those cases closely for quick disposal.
∎ To arrange to move the original documents i.e. Cheque, Charge Documents, Collateral Documents by maintaining proper hand over- take over procedure with acknowledgment and this is must;
∎ To arrange to withdraw the case/suit after receiving the approval from the Management;
∎ To maintain communication with Law Chamber and other stakeholder;
∎ To assist MIS Unit for updating the litigation data regularly as well as ensure the payment of Lawyers' Professional Fees and Court Fees; and
∎ To follow up other legal and para-legal issues to be assigned/instructed by Unit Head as well as keeping liaison with the law enforcing agencies to upheld the interest of Bank.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 3-5 Years in litigations of banking or financial industries.
∎ Ability and willingness to work under pressure;
∎ Ability and willingness to make visible contribution in the quick disposal of the litigations;
∎ Strong communication in both English and Bangla & interpersonal skill;
∎ Candidate must possess a minimum CGPA of 3.00 (out of 4)/1st Division at both graduation and post-graduation level and minimum CGPA of 4 (out of 5)/1st Division at S.S.C and H.S.C levels;
∎ Interested candidates must have mindset to work anywhere in Bangladesh;
∎ Candidates must have good knowledge about Banking Laws and Company Laws;
∎ Candidates must have good drafting skills and strong command over Microsoft Word, Excel & Power Point; and
∎ Candidate must have high moral character with integrity and good professional track record.
∎ Candidate must have professional membership and certification with the relevant authority.
