Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering from any reputed public / private university is required
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Good grasp on Java SE preferably in multi-threading, generics, collections, streams, lambda etc.
∎ Must have prior experience in developing web-based applications in JavaEE or Spring.
∎ Excellent knowledge on Oracle Database, writing performant SQL and ORM technologies (JPA/Hibernate).
∎ Knowledge on Oracle PL/SQL would be an added advantage.
∎ Strong ability to understand and translate business requirements from customers into good software design using best practices and principles (e.g. SOLID, OOP etc.) with proper impact analysis on existing systems wherever applicable.
∎ A mindset to continuous improvement by learning new skills and techniques, along with reducing technical debt of the existing software systems by refactoring them continuously.
∎ Ensure the functional aspects of the requirements are fully complied in time by unit testing, and following the set standards and best practices as well.
∎ Guarantee peer review is done through effective communication and the quality of coding standard as per peer report submitted to Team Lead.
∎ Take action to meet work-related objectives without being asked. Seeks out and willingly undertakes new challenges, responsibilities or assignments.
∎ Visible intents to build or maintain friendly, constructive & effective relationships. Relates well to people at all levels and build appropriate rapport with them.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent knowledge on problem solving skills is a plus.
∎ Interest and desire to self-learn the specific business domain in addition to relevant technology to become an impactful developer
∎ Ability to prioritize, multi-task and follow-up with minimal direction from team-lead
∎ Attention to detail and organized
∎ Prior experience in developing software applications in banking or financial sector is preferable.
