Job Responsibilities:
∎ Project Management: Coordinate and oversee software development projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
∎ Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of software developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure efficient and effective performance.
∎ Software Development Lifecycle: Oversee the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and analysis to design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
∎ Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively, including human resources, budget, and tools, to maximize productivity and project outcomes.
∎ Data Cleaning and Preparation: Data analysts should know how to clean and prepare data for analysis. This includes removing errors, identifying outliers, and transforming data into a format that can be analyzed.
∎ Data Analysis and Exploration: Data analysts need to be able to analyze data and explore it for insights. This includes using statistical methods to test hypotheses, identify trends, and make predictions.
∎ Statistical Analysis: Understanding statistical tests and tools is crucial. Familiarity with mean, median, variance, standard deviation, correlation, regression, and hypothesis testing can be fundamental.
∎ Programming: Knowledge of programming languages, especially: Python: Libraries like pandas, numpy, and scikit-learn are essential for data manipulation and analysis.
∎ Database Management: The ability to query databases using SQL is essential for extracting data. Knowledge of database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MS SQL.
∎ Creating Dashboards and Reports: Data analysts need to be able to create dashboards and reports that communicate insights to stakeholders. This includes using tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft Word to create interactive dashboards and reports.
∎ Data Visualization: Using tools and libraries like Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn, or ggplot2 to represent data in a visual format that's easy to understand.
∎ Machine Learning: Machine learning is a growing field that is becoming increasingly important for data analysts. Data analysts who are proficient in machine learning can use it to automate tasks, identify patterns, and make predictions.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 32 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Proven experience minimum 10 years in software development, with 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
∎ Strong understanding of software development methodologies.
∎ Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks relevant to the technology stack used in the organization as SQL, SPSS, VBA, SAS, Microsoft Power BI.
∎ Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
∎ Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
∎ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
∎ Preferred Additional Skills:
∎ Project management certifications (PMP, Agile, etc.).
∎ Experience with practices and tools.
∎ Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices in software development.
