∎ Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
∎ Good Documentation such as preparing procedures, diagrams related to Database.

∎ At least 03 years in Database Technology and minimum overall 05 years in Information Technology

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Extensive experience working with Oracle, MySQL, and MS SQL databases.
∎ Lead database architecture initiatives, including capacity planning, data modeling and schema optimization.
∎ Develop and enforce security protocols to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
∎ Optimize database performance through tuning and proactive monitoring to enhance system efficiency and responsiveness.
∎ Oversee backup strategies, disaster recovery plans and high-availability solutions to minimize downtime and data loss.
∎ Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance bottlenecks, data integrity problems and system failures.
∎ Stay informed on emerging database technologies and industry best practices, assessing their relevance for organizational improvements.
∎ Establish and maintain database standards, policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
∎ Automation: skills in SQL/PLSQ, Oracle Scheduler & CRON Jobs, Shell Scripting (Bash/Korn/Python/Perl).
∎ Strong expertise in database security access controls and monitoring unauthorized changes.
∎ Proficiency in SQL optimization and data modeling for efficient database performance.
∎ Deep understanding of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies, including replication, clustering and DC-DR setups.
∎ Hands-on experience with proactive database monitoring tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager, AWR, Enterprise Monitor, and Workbench.
∎ Practical experience using backup and recovery solutions, including Oracle ZDLRA, RMAN, Veeam and Commvault, Networker with data domain.
∎ Strong knowledge of database administration in Linux environments, including CentOS and RedHat Linux.
∎ Familiarity with cloud and virtualization technologies, such as VMware and Hyper-V etc.
∎ Audit Vault, Database Firewall and golden gate implementation & management
∎ Strong knowledge of security protocols and internationally recognized security benchmarks (e.g., CIS). Ability to handle customer issues under time constraints
