Basic understanding of server and network infrastructure (DHCP, FTP, shared drives
Good problem-solving attitude and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision.
Responsibilities & Context:
Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Junior / Semi-Senior IT & Computer Hardware Technician to support our organization’s day-to-day IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate must be capable of assembling, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer hardware, installing operating systems and software, configuring printers, and ensuring smooth connectivity for internet and telephone networks. Basic knowledge of server connectivity and LAN setup are required.
Job Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware (desktop, laptop, peripherals).
Install and upgrade operating systems (Windows/Linux) and application software as required.
Setup and maintain printers, scanners, and other office devices.
Configure and troubleshoot internet connections, LAN, Wi-Fi routers, and telephone
networking.
CCTV installation and basic router/firewall configuration.
Perform routine maintenance and health checks for systems and network equipment.
Provide prompt IT support to employees for any technical issues.
Assist in backup, basic server connectivity, and entry-level network configurations.
Maintain proper documentation of IT assets, installations, and troubleshooting activities.
Coordinate with vendors or seniors for escalated technical issues.
Ensure IT devices and network are secure and optimized for performance.
