- To integrate multiple systems and reconcile needs of different teams
- To gather feedback from end users about system performance
- To plan and oversee projects (e.g. upgrades, hardware/software installations)
- To provide advice and technical training Keep abreast of technology trends and developments
- To understand business and technology needs
- To prepare system and training documents, such as user manual, training materials and slides
