Computer Hardware and Networking, Firewall, IT Troubleshooting, Network Infastructure, Network Security, Server Management, Software, Switches/ Routers, WAP, WLAN
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues in a timely and efficient manner.
∎ Assist in managing and maintaining the company's network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
∎ Support the implementation of network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, malware, and other potential threats.
∎ Assist in administering and monitoring servers, ensuring regular backups, system upgrades, and optimal performance.
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute IT projects, ensuring smooth integration and minimal disruptions.
∎ Assist in the procurement and setup of new hardware and software, ensuring compatibility and adherence to company standards.
∎ Contribute to the development and maintenance of comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, troubleshooting guides, and user manuals.
∎ Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, providing input on innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency.
∎ Contribute to training sessions and the creation of user guides to enhance employees' technical knowledge and skills.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
∎ 2-3 years of relevant work experience as an IT Support Specialist or Network Administrator.
∎ Solid understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
∎ Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
∎ Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems, Active Directory, and Exchange Server.
∎ Exposure to virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud computing (AWS, Azure) is advantageous.
∎ Knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
∎ Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
∎ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
∎ Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) are a plus.
